The theme for this year’s book, Opposites, was conceived with the intention of fostering unity and celebrating diversity. By presenting the book in two opposing, yet intrinsically linked, volumes, we aimed to spark new and unexpected connections, encouraging dialogue both between the designs on the printed pages but also among designers in real life.This split format not only creates a compelling design narrative but also enables Fedrigoni to showcase the work of an astonishing 730 creatives.

My idea stemmed from the digital “rain” from the Matrix. A tongue in cheek view of “Reality”, is it really in fact reality? A homage to the movies. I took the numbers “2” and “3” and created my own version of digital “rain”.

My opposite counterpart word is “Illusion” in the “Dark” book.
